Job description

At the core of Adfenix value offer is our ability to optimize marketing campaigns. We are a leader in this area today for the real estate industry and with your help we will continue to stay at the forefront. Today we are mainly optimizing advertising campaigns in the Facebook ecosystem. In the future other channels will be included and we are expanding into marketing automation which will broaden the scope of the role.


As Marketing Data Scientist it is your job to lead the way into strengthened optimization within our products. This means that you will research optimization on a broad scale and continuously find ways our products can be improved.  


Responsibilities - what you'll do

  • Find patterns for optimization opportunities in historical data
  • Establish a standardised methodology to
    • research features to include in the product to improve campaign performance
    • conduct A/B testing and measure statistical significance to interpret test results
    • measure and optimise effectiveness of campaign performance over time
    • measure and improve user awareness of Adfenix campaign performance
  • Own and maintain product improvement suggestions in a prioritized list - including estimated global impact
  • Potential improvement areas include, but are not limited to:
    • Targeting (we have plenty of data from our customers' websites and visitors, including captured lead information - that can be used in creative ways)
    • Budgeting
    • Formats
    • Objectives
    • Channels
    • General creative recommendations (based on research)
  • Own and maintain documentation of experiments including hypothesis, result and learnings 
  • Be the voice of campaign performance at Adfenix:
    • Work with marketing to build assets and participate in webinars to educate staff, prospects and customers 

Support sales with specific strategic opportunities related to benchmarks, presentations or objection handling  



Requirements - who you are and what you need to know

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in data science, statistics, optimization or similar
  • You have an analytical and methodical mindset and you are able to establish standardised methodologies around campaign research
  • Proven ability in analyzing large datasets to gain insights and provide data driven recommendations
  • Solid experience in A/B testing and significance measurement
  • Experience in optimizing marketing campaigns
  • You are communicative and can explain your thoughts clearly and concisely
  • You enjoy working in a global environment


Nice to have

  • Experience with Facebook marketing
  • Ability to work against an API (for example to Facebook or Google Analytics) to automate tasks and do data exploration
  • Data visualization
  • Machine learning
  • Software development in the .Net stack
  • Marketing Automation experience
